Proposed expenditure limit increase resonating with most Scottsdale voters

Still others question why now

A recent poll suggests supporters of upping Scottsdale’s state mandated expenditure limit have nothing to worry about when voters go to the ballot box this November.

The poll was paid for by Vote Yes Yes Scottsdale, a political action committee that supports the city’s ballot measures to replace a .2% sales tax that expires next year with a .15% for parks maintenance and services as well as increasing the city’s state mandated expenditure limit base by $22 million.

The $22 million number is added to the base and would actually add $298 million to what the city could spend annually.
