Professional Peoria cornhole player finishes strong at world tournament

Peoria resident Brittany Ethridge became a professional player with the American Cornhole League earlier this year, and she is finding success as a rookie.

During the 2026 Cornhole World Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina, July 27-Aug. 2, she finished fifth in her bracket in two separate events — pro women’s singles, as well as mixed/coed doubles, beating Mark Richards and Miranda Coy, two nationally recognized professional cornhole players.

Ethridge is currently ranked the 31st as a professional woman in the nation as a rookie.
