The Primary Election date for Arizona is just a month off and there are a lot of dates and information to consider for those wanting to vote.
Election Day is Tuesday, July 30, and the last day to register to vote for the election is Monday, July 1. Early ballots will be placed in the mail Wednesday, July 3, and should start arriving in residents’ mailboxes by the weekend or early the following week (July 8) due to the July 4 holiday.
The last day a registered voter may request an early ballot is Friday, July 19, and the recommended last day to submit ballots by mail is Tuesday, July 23. There will be an early ballot drop box at Florence Ely Nelson Recreation Center (8950 E. Pinnacle Peak Road), the Indian Bend Wash Visitor Center (4201 N. Hayden Road) and Scottsdale City Hall (3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard) beginning on Wednesday, July 3, for those who wish to return their ballot in person. (City Hall is a ballot drop off site only; residents can get a ballot and vote at the other two locations.)
