PRIDES greet, recruit Sun City residents

Group help keep community clean

The Sun City PRIDES drew a large number of people to the open house earlier this month, and for its purpose it was considered a success.

The open house was designed to allow residents to get to know the group and its history, and to give the PRIDES to recruit new members. The recruiting efforts brought in 24 new members.

“The PRIDES board is supportive and has insight to recognize the importance of constant education to all generations of residents in Sun City, but most importantly the next generation that will keep the PRIDES organization alive and moving forward with our efforts in keeping Sun City beautiful,” said Deborah Douglas, PRIDES spokeswoman.
