A contract for the design phase of a massive sewer system project is one of the many fairly expensive items on Monday’s Chandler City Council study session consent agenda.

The study session is set for 6 p.m. in the council chamber at City Hall, 88 E. Chicago St., Downtown Chandler.

Staff recommends Wilson Engineers LLC design a redundant 66-inch sewer line that will run underneath Loop 202 at the Loop 101 interchange for almost $500,000. The full project is estimated to cost tens of millions more.
