Queen Creek Police Chief Randy Brice briefed the public Wednesday on the latest developments in the Preston Lord homicide case as the Maricopa County attorney signaled that charges could be made soon.
“We did receive a big piece of information last week, as we’ve been waiting for the medical examiner to finish their analysis and their examination,” Brice said during the Queen Creek Town Council meeting. “We did receive their report which showed the manner of death to be a homicide. This is a piece of our investigation that’s obviously very important but it’s just a portion of what we’ve been doing.”
