Preservation versus rehabilitation of Peoria streets

City taking strategy shift in its treatment of roadways

In the coming years, the Peoria Public Works Department will take a different strategy when it comes to maintaining its roads.

The city is shifting focus from the preservation of its younger roads to the rehabilitation of its older, more damaged roads.
