An Aug. 24 presentation at a Chandler Chamber of Commerce event reminded people of some stark current economic situations and highlighted some lesser-known problems.
Liz Recchia, government affairs director for West & Southeast Realtors of the Valley, presenting about the ever-changing East Valley real estate market, said despite the high cost of single-family homes, a recent “doppler” report shows the real estate market isn’t dipping as steeply as reported by some media outlets.
“It certainly is not cratering the way some people want to say it is,” Recchia said. “A few metrics are down slightly from August 2022. So things went from crazy-frenzy to really, really busy.”
