Local experts say documents are accessible to make planning easier

When it comes to end-of-life planning, local experts say there are easy ways to make sure a person’s affairs are in order in an increasingly complex world.

Nicola Lawrence, Phoenix Children’s Foundation’s associate vice president of gift planning, said there can be numerous — but easy — steps to enable people to take care of their belongings after they die.

“Such as do not forget to update beneficiary and social media accounts and pets and things like power of attorney and health care directives, which can be completed at no cost for the user,” she said.
