Pregnant teen identified as victim in deadly Phoenix shooting

A 16-year-old who was 22 weeks pregnant has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred last month, Phoenix police said Thursday.
Zariah Dodd died just before 6 a.m. July 5 near 55th Avenue and Osborn Road. Officers found her with a gunshot wound, and she was pronounced dead by Phoenix Fire Department personnel, police stated in an earlier release.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip.
