Pre-construction contract approved for Paradise Valley’s Mockingbird Lane project

The Paradise Valley Town Council has approved an agreement with a Chandler-based construction company to manage the town’s more than $12.3 million Mockingbird Lane-56th Street to Invergordon Road project.

At its Nov. 14 meeting, the council unanimously voted to award a construction manager at risk agreement, or CMAR, to Achen-Gardner Construction in an amount not to exceed $258,896. Under a CMAR, a construction manager is hired to oversee a project from design to the end of construction.
