A lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket in Peoria for Wednesday’s drawing won $2 million on the night when a ticket bought in California hit the $1.7 billion prize.

The Peoria ticket was purchased at the Cactus Shell, 6730 W. Cactus Road, and included PowerPlay, Arizona Lottery officials said.

A $50,000 winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 7522 W. Deer Valley Road, Peoria.

A lottery player who purchased a Powerball ticket in Peoria for Wednesday’s drawing won $2 million on the night when a ticket bought in California hit the $1.7 billion prize.

The Peoria ticket was purchased at the Cactus Shell, 6730 W. Cactus Road, and included PowerPlay, Arizona Lottery officials said.

A $50,000 winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 7522 W. Deer Valley Road, Peoria.

The winning numbers in the Oct. 11 drawing were 22, 24, 40, 52, 64 and Powerball 10. The PowerPlay multiplier was 2X.
