POWER OF PLAY

Power Play 2022, an in-person, collaborative event between Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Arizona State University, is 6 p.m. Friday, April 22, at ASU Fusion on First, 380 N. First Ave.

Showcasing the healing power of play, ten Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders transplant patients will be transformed into superheroes with the help of student fashion designers from ASU’s School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

As part of this invitation-only cocktail reception and fashion show, the patients will take the runway in custom-designed superhero suits.
