Power outage reported after man crashes into power line pole in Scottsdale
Forty one Scottsdale homes are without power this morning as a man crashed into a power line pole near 6700 E. Thomas Road around 4 a.m. Friday.

Connor C. Coolman, of Phoenix, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia after crashing into a power line pole near 6700 E. Thomas Road shortly after 4 a.m. Friday. No injuries have been reported, according to Scottsdale Police.
The pole was damaged and lines were downed, causing a power outage to 41 homes in the area, according to an SRP spokesperson. Power is scheduled to be restored around 1:50 p.m.
