Could potential Red Lobster closure in Arrowhead area be bellwether?

Many take local restaurants over national chains these days

The Red Lobster on Bell Road near Arrowhead Towne Center has been a mainstay in the Northwest Valley for decades now.

Life-long Peoria resident Monica Ceja-Martinez went on her first date with her first boyfriend back in the 1990s at that Red Lobster. The occasion was Centennial High School’s homecoming, she recalled.

She said she didn’t date much in high  school, but it was a memorable landmark  in her life.
