Sun City West residents may soon be able to get the COVID-19 vaccination at a second location in the community.
A COVID-19 vaccination point of dispensing location is up and running at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., and Recreation Centers of Sun City West administrators continue talking to Maricopa County health officials offering facilities or space for a POD on association property.
During the Feb. 9 Rec Center Show on 103.1 KSCW, host Gary Cohen asked Bill Schwind, RCSCW general manager, about the possibility of a life-saving mission taking place in the R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd., parking lot.
