Population growth in Peoria not slowing down anytime soon

Report: Projected to grow 22% by 2030, 75% by 2060

Population growth in Peoria isn’t expected to slow down anytime soon.

This year, the city's population is projected to top the 200,000 mark. Looking forward, the city’s population is expected to eclipse 250,000 people in 2037 and 300,000 in 2055, with a jump of about 22% by 2030 and 75% by 2060.

That’s according to a draft study released last month by the Maricopa Association of Governments, better known as MAG.
