Popular chicken restaurant coming to north Surprise

Zaxbys is looking poised to enter the Surprise market, giving residents another chicken option to eat.

The restaurant chain is asking for a conditional-use permit from the Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission for a drive-thru facility on the southeast corner of 163rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road.

Commissioners will meet to discuss it at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 16 at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
