Ponderosa Dispensary in Chandler seeks use permit

Continuing to allow the colocation of an ancillary Ponderosa Dispensary medical-marijuana facility, cultivation site and infusion food establishment near Chandler Boulevard and Price Road will be considered by the Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission Aug. 21.

A use permit is to be considered subject to conditions as recommended by planning staff. The commission is to hold a study session at 4 p.m. and a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chandler City Council Chambers, 88 E. Chicago St.

A use permit was approved in April 2023 to allow for the colocation. Per zoning code, the use permit is valid for one year and may be renewed for another year by filing a use permit application, Associate Planner Darsy Omer said in a written memo to the commission.
