Police: Young person taken to hospital after shooting in Peoria

A young person was taken to the hospital Jan. 16 after a shooting in the Fletcher Heights community of Peoria, Peoria Police said.

Police said the young person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting happened around 4 p.m. near 79th Drive and Deer Valley Road.
