The 19-year-old arrested for a drive-by shooting spree that killed one and injured 12 in the northwest Valley Thursday, June 17, shot at another stranger from his car the evening before, according to police.

According to a report from Peoria police, less than 18 hours before the June 17 shooting spree started, that suspect, Ashin Tricarico of Surprise, sat in his parked car at a Peoria gas station and pointed a gun at a stranger parked near him. Moments later, when both men had driven out of the gas station, Tricarico is believed to have shot at the man while driving.
