Phoenix police make arrest, identify victim in April shooting

The victim in an April shooting near 700 North 1st Street has been identified as Jiehiason Lane, Phoenix police said Saturday.
The 26-year-old died at a hospital following the shooting that occurred about 12:40 a.m. April 27.
Detectives Identified Jose Garcia, 23, as the suspect in the shooting. Garcia was taken into custody and later booked on May 5 on second-degree murder charges.
At this time, detectives do not believe there are any other outstanding suspects, police said.
