Police seek public’s help to identify Glendale homicide suspects
Posted
Special to Independent Newsmedia
Glendale police need help identifying suspects involved in a homicide from over the weekend.
Just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, police responded to a report of a shooting near the 5700 block of N. 59th Ave. The 911 caller advised they could hear a male screaming as well as a gunshot.
Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim near an apartment stairwell with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, and was later pronounced deceased.
Police say the victim has been identified as 55-year-old Reydesel “Ray” Parra, the owner of Ray’s European Garage in Phoenix. The Ray’s European Garage Facebook page says the company has been “fixing European cars since 1982.”
Glendale Police Department homicide detectives are investigating and are asking for the public’s help in identifying any suspects involved.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO.
