INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Tempe police are investigating a shooting Wednesday on East Apache Boulevard that left one person injured.
Police received reports of an individual with a gunshot wound about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, near 1020 Apache Blvd.
Preliminary information is that two people may have had an argument just before the shooting, police said. The suspect ran before police arrived, and the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are working on the investigation, but police said suspect details are limited.
Police reported the shooting as an isolated incident with no threat to the public. Anyone who can provide information to assist authorities is asked to call 480-350-8311.
