A man was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail after a police pursuit in which he drove the wrong way on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale, causing a multiple vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon, according to report from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Adam Christopher Wanko, 52, is charged with one count of unlawful flight from a law enforcement vehicle, five counts of endangerment and two outstanding felony warrants.
Wanko, his passenger, and four people in other vehicles suffered minor injuries from the accident. They were all treated by local hospitals and released.
