Phoenix police have released the names of the victim and suspect in a shooting that occurred about 7:20 p.m. Dec. 27 near 8th Street and Montecito Avenue.
Rayeon McKinnon, 33, was found shot at the scene and later died at a hospital.
Henry Turner, 55, was charged Saturday and booked into jail on several felonies, including murder and being a prohibited possessor in possession of a firearm, police said, adding the Arizona Department of Public Safety assisted in apprehending Turner.
