An hour later, the suspects entered a business in the area of Grovers Avenue and Cave Creek Road and committed another takedown-style armed robbery. One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other collected property before leaving.
Robbery detectives determined the two armed robberies were related and committed by the same suspects. They were identified as Osvaldo Campa, 22, and Pablo Escobar Castillo, 20.
On May 6, both suspects were arrested.
“Through interviews, both admitted to their involvement in the two armed robberies and both suspects have been booked on multiple charges related to the two investigations,” the release stated. “These investigations remain very much active and follow-up is being conducted at this time.”
