POGO driving toward discontinuation

Due to high costs, waning ridership

It looks like POGO is go, go, going away.

The city’s free circulator pilot program — Peoria On The Go, or POGO — is in the process of being discontinued due to decreased and expensive ridership.

Mayor Jason Beck said it is estimated the program, operated by Valley Metro, is costing the city between $400 and $475 per rider.
