Pogioli: We should boycott businesses on Loop 303 billboards
I read with great disappointment that the Surprise City Council values business over people in their decision to blight our beautiful Arizona landscape with billboards.
Surprise is a vibrant growing city that has done an excellent job of attracting business without billboards.

Letter by Martin Pogioli of Sun City West
I read with great disappointment that the Surprise City Council values business over people in their decision to blight our beautiful Arizona landscape with billboards.
Surprise is a vibrant growing city that has done an excellent job of attracting business without billboards.
The city council has bowed to the greed of a few in disregard of the desires of their constituents. The council and the business community are here to serve the people.
They put the cart before the horse. Since money is the only thing to watch this council will respond, I recommend that all citizens commit themselves to not supporting any business that advertises on these billboards.
Whenever I see a business advertised on one of these eyesores, I plan to contact them directly and let them know that I have made a decision not to honor their greed with my business.
