Louis Andersen, who was appointed Pinal County manager 14 months ago, has resigned and will receive a one-time payment of $150,000, according to a mutual separation agreement, release and waiver of claims.
“I hereby tender my resignation from county employment, effective Nov. 17, 2020,” he wrote in a one-sentence letter dated Nov. 9.
At a special session the next day, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors accepted the voluntary resignation and mutual separation agreement in lieu of severance in a 4-1 vote with Supervisor Todd House, District 5, dissenting.
