Pinal County man gets 129 months in child porn case

A 59-year-old Pinal County man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography from 2016 to 2017.

James Stacey Porter was sentenced April 13, the Arizona district of the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated Wednesday in a release.

Porter was detected in the BitTorrent file sharing network during an FBI investigation. Law enforcement connected to Porter’s computer in Phoenix and received child pornography files that Porter’s computer was sharing, authorities said.
