The Pinal County Historical Museum in Florence has received a $50,000 grant. Along with displays in the museum, PCHS also has many outdoor displays.

The Pinal County Historical Museum in Florence has received a $50,000 grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The historical museum will use the funds to hire a part-time collections manager to work with paid interns on project activities. The activities will include a comprehensive inventory and an update of the museum’s collections records.
Through the project, the museum hopes to improve collection stewardship and make recommendations for future collections care, including long-term planning and possible removal.
