Pinal County deputies still searching for suspected burglars

One suspect is wounded

One of two burglary suspects being sought south of Florence by Pinal County deputies was wounded by gunfire.

Before 3 a.m. Oct. 12, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress on E. Desert Hills Road, south of Florence.

As responding deputies approached the address, the suspects were attempting to leave the area by car. According to a PCSO spokesperson, the suspects rammed two deputies' vehicles, and the second deputy fired at the suspects.
