The Recreation Centers of Sun City West will conduct a ground-breaking for the new pickleball courts 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6.

The event will take place at the location of the new courts, which is between the Men’s Club and the driveway near the R.H. Johnson Library, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

There will be a short talk about the new courts, followed by the first turns of dirt with ceremonial shovels. Eight new courts will be built.
