The annual East Valley Veterans Parade was held in downtown Mesa Thursday, Nov. 11.

This year’s parade theme was “Military Art & Artists,” celebrating the many forms of military art used through the years. More information is available at evvp.org.

Parade category entries included commercial, equestrian, animal, honor guard, military organization, musical, nonprofit, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, family and youth. Parade entries must be patriotic, veteran-themed honoring veterans and nonpolitical, the website states.

The annual East Valley Veterans Parade was held in downtown Mesa Thursday, Nov. 11.

This year’s parade theme was “Military Art & Artists,” celebrating the many forms of military art used through the years. More information is available at evvp.org.

The East Valley Veterans Day parade is presented and produced by volunteers from the East Valley Veterans Parade Association, a 501(c)(3) charity.

The parade route began at Center Street and University Drive, proceeded south on Center Street and west on First Street to Robson.
