The Skyhawks of Deer Valley High School took over the streets around its campus on 51st Avenue in Glendale to celebrate Homecoming Friday morning.
With residents lining the sidewalks, student clubs and athletic programs made the most the Homecoming spirit with a processional line that eventually wound its way back to campus at 51st and Union Hills Drive. This year’s theme was Enchanted Homecoming.
The celebration culminates with a Friday night football game under the lights as the Skyhawks host Thunderbird. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
