Phoenix's former Cesar Chavez Library renamed to Prickly Pear Library

The former Cesar Chavez Library in Phoenix is now the Prickly Pear Library.

City council voted in March to strip Cesar Chavez’s name from all city property after allegations emerged that the labor leader sexually abused girls and women. In the interim, the library branch southwest of 35th Avenue and Baseline Road, has been called the Library in Laveen.
