Phoenix woman dies in West Valley road rage shooting
The Arizona Department of Pubic Safety is investigating a road rage incident Tuesday that took the life of an 18-year-old woman passenger shot while traveling along westbound Interstate 10.
The Tolleson Police Department asked for DPS assistance at about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 15 when officials said road rage led to the shooting near 83rd Avenue.
The vehicle from which the shot was fired did not remain at the scene. It is described as a silver or gray Chrysler 200.

The Tolleson Police Department asked for DPS assistance at about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 15 when officials said road rage led to the shooting near 83rd Avenue.

The victim, Brittany E. Gutierrez-Bugarin of Phoenix, was taken to the Abrazo west campus hospital and died from her injuries, according to DPS.
