Phoenix is bringing back red-light cameras.

Phoenix City Council voted Tuesday to resurrect the city’s automated enforcement program, which ended in 2019, after the city has seen high rates of vehicle and pedestrian deaths in recent years.

“This is just another tool in our toolbox to help us keep our families, our visitors, our businesses owners safe,” Councilmember Anne O’Brien said.
