Phoenix Sun’s center JaVale McGee was the host last week of a charity softball game for his nonprofit foundation JUGLIFE, but he also took time to honor Hope 4 Kids International with the Global Community Impact Award.
The award is in recognition of the support Phoenix-based Hope 4 Kids provides JUGLIFE during missions to Uganda, Africa in order to drill clean drinking water wells.
Through their partnership, JUGLIFE and Hope 4 Kids have drilled five deep-water wells and have provided clean drinking water to thousands of Ugandans, according to a release.
