Phoenix seeks water education volunteers

A Phoenix Water Wrangler teaches students about hydrology: the watershed, the role of the water cycle and the role of humans in managing resources.

The city of Phoenix is looking for volunteers to help educate the public about water.

The Water Wrangler Program seeks engaged residents to complete a training course and attend some Water Services Department events to help answer common questions from the public about where Phoenix gets its water, the reliability of those sources, how to conserve water and how the city’s sewer system works.

Recruitment for the program is open through Tuesday, Sept. 30.
