International tourism is a vital part of the United States’ economy and summer is a peak season for traveling around the world.
Fortunately, as international summer travel has started to come back after the COVID-19 pandemic, the Phoenix metro ranked as one of the top U.S. locations that attracted overseas visitors last year.
Out of 106 U.S. metros in the U.S., Phoenix ranked No. 22 with 308,000 international travelers in 2023, according to a new report from Luxury Link, an online booking platform specializing in luxury travel. This represents 1% of total U.S. overseas visitors and a 42.6% increase in visitors from 2022 to 2023.
