Phoenix restaurants eligible for grant to reduce food waste

Restaurant owners can receive a micro-grant for reducing food loss and waste through Project REDUCE.

In its third year, Project REDUCE will award restaurants with $1,000 micro-grants to implement simple, creative, innovative, and money-saving food waste prevention projects.

Restaurants participating in Project REDUCE will receive hands-on training and technical assistance from a local Chef, Chris Lenza. Restaurants will also be showcased by the city of Phoenix through Project REDUCE week — a week-long recognition event to promote participating restaurants.
