Phoenix restaurant group to open two new restaurants in West Valley

Two new restaurant concepts, Magdaleña and Paquimex, are set to open in the West Valley this spring, expanding dining options in Goodyear and Glendale.

The projects come from TPQ Foods, the Phoenix-based group behind Pa’La Wood-Fired Kitchen and Tortas Paquimé. The company, led by owner Omar Alvarez, has grown from a single restaurant in 2002 to multiple locations across the region.

“We’re always looking to grow in new ways by honoring the people and community that have built this with us,” said  Alvarez. “Magdaleña and Paquimex are a reflection of that dedication. We’re excited to continue this journey together, bringing our love for great food and community to the West Valley.”
