Phoenix Police K-9 Moxie rides off into retirement

Phoenix Police K-9 Officer Moxie has spent the last five years detecting narcotics and human remains. Now that she’s headed to retirement, she has other plans in the works.

“She enjoys a good Frisbee and a good swim, and her favorite treats are whole carrot, red apple, or egg,” Mayor Kate Gallego said.

City Council honored Moxie on her retirement at Wednesday’s Phoenix City Council meeting.
