Phoenix police investigate possible homicide, suicide

An investigation is underway after officers responded to a shots-fired call at a Phoenix apartment and found a woman and man dead.

The shootings occurred about 3:50 p.m. June 26 near 99th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Preliminary information indicates the victim and suspect lived together, evidence suggests the suspect, Ronald Wright Serafino, 54, shot Shanna Cassondra Watts, 40, before taking his own life, police said.
