Phoenix police identify victim in homicide investigation

Robert Potter, 60, has been identified as the person who died after police found him early Sunday morning suffering from body trauma, Phoenix police said.

Police began a homicide investigation after finding Potter about 2:30 a.m. Dec. 3 near 27^th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. Suffering from trauma to his body, Potter was taken to a hospital where he later was pronounced dead, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
