A detailed time line of specifically how Phoenix officials will use its new 27-story downtown high-rise tower may take a few months to iron out.
On July 1, the Phoenix City Council voted to purchase the building — 100 W. Washington Street — at its regular meeting. The first order of business is to move 911 dispatchers into a portion of the 525,000-square-foot center.
From there, any kind of time line is unclear. The $46.5 million purchase of the property is expected to be complete sometime this fall.
