Phoenix police arrest suspect in Super Bowl Experience theft
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a “high-value theft” from the Super Bowl Experience in downtown Phoenix, police said.
George Rodriguez was arrested Feb. 7 and booked into jail on theft charges, according to a release.
On Feb. 4, Phoenix officers responded to a parking garage near 200 E. Washington St. on a theft call. They learned that approximately $100,000 worth of production equipment was taken from that location.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a “high-value theft” from the Super Bowl Experience in downtown Phoenix, police said.
George Rodriguez was arrested Feb. 7 and booked into jail on theft charges, according to a release.
On Feb. 4, Phoenix officers responded to a parking garage near 200 E. Washington St. on a theft call. They learned that approximately $100,000 worth of production equipment was taken from that location.
All of the stolen production equipment was located, recovered and returned the victim, police said.
Police said "the victim in this case is not the NFL nor any specific NFL venue, rather a third-party company associated with operations in downtown Phoenix."
The investigation into the theft is continuing, police said
