A 40-year-old man has been arrested on a second-degree murder charge in an Aug. 12 shooting outside a Phoenix apartment complex, police said.
Thomas Draper was charged in the killing of Jacob Sierra, 24, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
Officers were called to the complex near 43rd Street and McDowell Road just after 1:30 a.m. Aug. 12, and found Sierra suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
The suspect fled in a vehicle.
